Tabernacle of Grace Church’s Women’s Ministry is a department that nurtures, supports, and inspires women in a unique and personal way.
Many women are what are called “Givers”. They give to husbands, to children, to parents, to their job, to their church and take care of themselves emotionally, spiritually and physically.
The Women’s department helps to address the needs from a spiritual and feminine perspective. There is a variety of women in church who need encouragement and motivation in life.
The role of Men’s Ministry is to encourage and promote the participation and involvement of men in all appropriate ministries in church.
Objectives
Uth Zone Ministry is the gathering of TOG young people (both teenagers and young adults). The ministry exists to reach to our young people with the truth of the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to help them grow in their knowledge of Christ and to nurture a burning desire to reach out to others in love with that knowledge.
We believe that the Uth Zone Ministry has a special attention with God because this is the department where future generals, champions and leaders in the Kingdom are being formed and nurtured to fulfil destiny, therefore this department must be taken seriously.
Purpose
Our mandate as the Uth Zone is to be like a city set on a hill top that cannot be hidden. (Matthew5:14ASV).
Uth Zone Ministry aims to achieve the following:
The Kids for Christ is a Sunday School Ministry of Tabernacle of Grace Church that oversees the care of children who attend TOG Church. The ministry shall comprise of children that are below twelve years of age. These children usually have their parents also attending TOG. However, there may be cases where the parents don’t attend TOG where by other children will be leaving with relatives who attend the church.
The Kids for Christ Ministry has a special attention with God because this is the ministry where future generals, champions and leaders in the Kingdom of God are being formed and nurtured to fulfil destiny.
It is important for parents to know that Kids for Christ is not just a ministry where children are kept busy while parents attend church but it is a place where valuable spiritual deposits are made into the lives of the children.
Purpose
Our purpose is to run an innovative educational program. This will groom children spiritually and physically in the word of God as early as possible thus making them giants in the world.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 KJV. In order to achieve this, the children will be equipped to live and show God’s goodness by:
Loving Him through praying and singing to Him.
Growing up to be like Jesus and learning about His life.
Talking and playing with each other in a kind and fun way.
Sharing with other people God’s good news that Jesus Christ loves them, died for them, was raised from the dead and wants a relationship with them.
Serve Jesus in all aspects of their lives.
Aims
The Kids for Christ Ministry aims to do the following:
Tabernacle of Grace Church Compassion Ministry is a department of the church responsible for taking care of and serving the poor and needy members within the church primarily and others in the communities.
The department is a ministry of service and the fundamental principle upon which the ministry is based on is “LOVE”, that is the love of God, neighbor and service.
The objective of the Compassion Ministry is to reach out to the needy be it children, adults both male and female irrespective of colour or background within and outside the church. The objective is to extend the LOVE of God and minister to them God’s word.
“For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now he who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Walking in the spirit requires fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Through intercession we will know the heart of the Holy Spirit.”(Romans 8:26-27NKJV).
The Tabernacle of Grace Church Intercession department is a gathering of born-again Christians, who received a special calling in place of prayers, supplication and intercession. The Intercession department has a special attention with God because this is the department that serves as ‘The Watchers’ over the fold of God and support the pastorate in providing the required prayer for the church.
This department is a special calling and membership is open to all church members of TOG that are available, willing and with the burden to intercede for the church.
Our primary function as Grace Choir is to serve God through praising and worshipping Him with all our hearts giving Him all the glory, for He is worthy.
To be led by the Holy Spirit in all through praise and worship. (For as many as are led by the Holy Spirit of God, they are called the sons of God). Romans8:14KJV To usher people into the presence of God To sing worship songs through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit
Evangelism and Discipleship Ministry is that arm of the church which is bestowed with the duty to promote evangelism and to win and nurture souls. As such, the Evangelism and Discipleship Ministry primarily focuses on expanding the church, conduct crusades and workshops or any other evangelical events. Additionally, it is also the duty of this Ministry to do follow ups on new believers and church visitors.
The Hospitality department consists of Ushers, Greeters and Altar workers. It is the department of Tabernacle of Grace Church responsible for providing a warm reception to first time visitors to the church and creating a positive impression of the church in their hearts; something that may want them to be part of Tabernacle of Grace Church. The department is also responsible for providing a warm welcome to permanent regular members of Tabernacle of Grace Church. The Hospitality department serve a vital role in ensuring that the service runs smoothly and that the needs of the congregation are met.
The Protocol department is an arm of Tabernacle of Grace Church with the responsibility of providing a hospitable and conducive environment for visiting guest ministers both local and international with the objective of making them feel at home outside their home. The Protocol team also caters for Tabernacle of Grace Church Pastors and Leaders by providing good support service. The team provides support services such as flight bookings, arrangement of hotel accommodation, transport services and warm reception of guests upon arrival. This usually takes place during conference. The Protocol department is the “special services” department of the church. Their main area of focus is the Pastorate, Guest ministers and Special invited guests.
The Media and IT Department is responsible for the excellent audio and visual service to the church at all times. In addition, this department also manages all the online social media accounts, websites and applications for the church. Resultantly, this department is instrumental in exporting the gospel of Christ and TOG activities across the world.
